Thanks to the already integrated standard interfaces to Akeneo, ATAMYA/eggheads, Contentserv, Crossbase, OMN by Apollon, Oxid, Pimcore, Shopware, Viamedici and to Mongo DB (including to Stibo STEP), you can retrieve data (e.g., availability) directly from your PIM or ERP system, process it in CatalogExpress, and provide it to ELGATE via REST API and a SOAP-to-REST API translator.

 

This allows ELGATE to access your availability data without needing direct access to your PIM or ERP system. You can use CatalogExpress to provide data from Akeneo to ELGATE, from ATAMYA/eggheads to ELGATE, from Contentserv to ELGATE, from Crossbase to ELGATE, from OMN to ELGATE, from Pimcore to ELGATE, from Viamedici to ELGATE, and from other PIM and ERP systems to ELGATE in real-time.

 

Additionally, you can combine data from your PIM and ERP systems (e.g., product descriptions from the PIM and pricing from the ERP) before delivering it to ELGATE.

Deliver data to ELGATE via file interface

 

If you prefer not to connect your internal systems to CatalogExpress or ELGATE via API (e.g., due to data governance policies), no problem! You can also deliver your product data to CatalogExpress via a file interface. Simply set up an automated export from your ERP or PIM system to the CatalogExpress (S)FTP server or your own (S)FTP server. After the initial data mapping, CatalogExpress will retrieve your current availability, pricing, and order status data and also deliver them to ELGATE in real-time.

Map the data onto the ELGATE target structure

Here, you map your data fields for availability, order status, and pricing to the ELGATE target structure. The CatalogExpress mapping interface also provides various functions to quickly and easily transform your data. For example, you can convert your order status data into the corresponding ELGATE status.

Add an assortment

If you wish, you can provide availability and pricing data to ELGATE for selected assortments only, or for all your products.

Validate the ELGATE data

You have the option to set up custom data validations for your ELGATE data. For example, you can create a validation for pricing data. In the validation report of CatalogExpress, you'll be able to see which products are missing prices and can easily correct this in your internal systems.

Distribution to ELGATE

This process is now automated. Your data will be updated as frequently as you wish. Your customers can then retrieve this data in real-time via ELGATE.

After the initial mapping, your order status, availability, and pricing data will be delivered to ELGATE in real-time.
