At nexoma, we are pleased to welcome SQLI as a new partner. Originally founded in France, the company is now an internationally active full-service digital service provider. With its versatile team of experienced consultants, developers, and also industry experts, SQLI develops tailored digital strategies and helps companies from various industries implement e-business projects successfully over the long term. Find out exactly what SQLI has to offer and also, what benefits this new partnership with nexoma brings.
Who is SQLI and what exactly does the digital service provider do?
Originally founded in France in 1990, the company was known as “SQL Ingénierie”. This translates to “SQL Engineering” in English. In the late 1990s, it was rebranded as “SQLI” – a move that also reflected its evolution into one of Europe’s leading digital service providers. In addition, SQLI operates in several other European countries, including the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Regardless of location, the company’s mission remains the same: to develop tailored, scalable digital strategies, deliver suitable software solutions, and also help businesses achieve long-term e-commerce success.
To ensure success, an experienced network of digital strategists, developers, and consultants works closely with clients. Combining years of experience, technological expertise, and a deep understanding of industry-specific processes, SQLI is able to deliver a wide range of projects. These include digital platforms and tools for efficient data management—such as selecting the right PIM, ERP, DAM, MDM, etc.—as well as implementing a user-friendly experience. By identifying pain points, a comprehensive picture of each use case emerges. This also leads to strategies and solutions that optimize processes, reduce costs, and sustainably increase the efficiency of digital business models. In Germany, SQLI employs more than 60 people in Dortmund and Berlin.
What benefits does the new partnership between nexoma and SQLI offer?
With experience from planning, executing, and supporting over 200 digital projects, SQLI knows exactly which tools are best suited for specific use cases. The SaaS solution CatalogExpress is a perfect addition: feed management and data syndication processes—i.e., the structured preparation and distribution of product data across various channels—run seamlessly thanks to integrated connectors to numerous PIM systems. Companies benefit from optimized product data as a true revenue driver, thanks to automated data validation and distribution to target channels such as marketplaces, data pools, or also B2B customers. In addition, the Supplier-Portal serves as a supplier data solution for the standardized import of external data into internal systems (data onboarding). It enables wholesalers to define clear data requirements for their suppliers and also to manage data transformation processes. This ensures all incoming data can be imported into a PIM etc. in a unified, validated, and efficient manner.
Another exciting aspect of the partnership between SQLI and nexoma is the many “interfaces” that connect both companies. Many systems SQLI recommends are also part of the nexoma ecosystem – such as their shared PIM partner, Contentserv. As one of the leading PIM providers, Contentserv enables companies to centrally manage and also maintain their product information. CatalogExpress and the Supplier Portal offer integrated PIM connectors that, for instance, enable a seamless integration with Contentserv. This allows PIM data to be enriched with ERP data, Excel files, or other sources. Users can then generate various industry-standard formats such as BMEcat, xChange, DPB, FAB-DIS, and many others. Classification standards like ETIM, ECLASS and others can also be created in various versions.
