Exciting news from the Akeneo App Store!

In the Akeneo App Store, users and interested parties of the PIM system can discover plugins and tools tailored to their use cases. Our data syndication software “CatalogExpress” helps companies efficiently manage and provide their product data. Importing data from your PIM, DAM, and ERP systems and combining multiple data sources becomes child’s play with CatalogExpress: Thanks to various connectors, you can load your product data directly from these systems into CatalogExpress and further process them. With the help of the Akeneo Connector, you can easily prepare PIM data in CatalogExpress through mapping.

And this is where the exciting news comes into play:

CatalogExpress is now also listed in the Akeneo App Store!

Thanks to this listing in the Akeneo App Store, you as a PIM user or interested party can now easily see the many features and use cases of CatalogExpress at a glance. Additionally, you can directly schedule a consultation through the app store.

What does CatalogExpress enable you to do in combination with Akeneo?

The combined use of Akeneo and CatalogExpress offers you many benefits. You can seamlessly load your PIM data into CatalogExpress to optimize it and map it to required data standards.

Once mapped, you can distribute the data automatically in various exchange formats and eBusiness channels. This includes ETIM BMEcat, JSON, CSV, as well as eProcurement systems like Simple System. Wholesale platforms like open datacheck or marketplaces like eBay also benefit from this.

You can validate your adjusted product data against predefined data structures, schemas, and templates. This ensures high data quality. CatalogExpress also offers a fast data provisioning to industry portals, B2B customers, online shops, or other data recipients.

Akeneo and CatalogExpress follow the Best-of-Breed approach. Akeneo is also MACH certified: “MACH” stands for Microservices-based, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless technology. The development of CatalogExpress also adheres to the MACH principles. Therefore, with both Akeneo and CatalogExpress, you can pursue the “Composable Commerce” approach. This makes you even more flexible because, thanks to the modular approach, you can extend the solutions as needed (e.g., through a customer portal where customers can download their product data catalogs).

By the way, you can find more information about the numerous features and use cases of CatalogExpress on our CatalogExpress landing page.
