Recap: SQLI Germany Partner Day 2025

As of October 2025, the partnership between nexoma and SQLI is still quite new. And now, the first in-person meeting has also taken place during the SQLI Germany Partner Day 2025. However, the networking event at SQLI’s Dortmund office was more than just a bilateral opportunity to connect. Several other – in some cases mutual – partner companies also made their way to the PHOENIX See. In this recap, nexoma team members Fabian Fischer and Kevin Mattig share their impressions and experiences from the event.

On September 30, 2025, our business developers Fabian Fischer and Kevin Mattig left the beautiful Sauerland region – well, at least a little bit. The trip to the SQLI Germany Partner Day 2025 was rather short, as Arnsberg is only a few kilometers away from Dortmund.

“We received a warm and relaxed welcome and quickly felt at ease,” Kevin recalls the reception at the PHOENIX See. Alongside several familiar faces from the PIM and product data management sector, the two nexoma team members also met a number of new contacts. The audience wasn’t limited to participants from Germany – some guests even traveled from across Europe to present exciting topics relevant to the industry.

The engaging keynote session already had a distinctly European touch: Mark Blockhuys (Marketing Director of SQLI Netherlands & Germany) and Hélène Sigrand (Chief Marketing Officer at SQLI) officially opened the partner event.

SQLI showcased how the full-service digital agency approaches customer engagement, the key topics currently in focus, and how these elements shape its current go-to-market strategy. This was also where the diverse expertise of SQLI’s various partners came into play – including PIM provider Centric Software (formerly Contentserv), a shared partner of both nexoma and SQLI.

How did nexoma experience the SQLI Germany Partner Day?

“Apart from meeting new contacts and reconnecting with familiar faces, partner events like this are always very insightful, as they provide different perspectives and showcase technological developments in e-commerce and the PIM sector,” Fabian shares from experience. “The customer cases presented and current topics, such as AI-supported lead generation, are also highly relevant for optimizing our processes.”

Kevin also values the knowledge exchange and networking at such events: “In day-to-day business, we are often limited to our own internal perspective. Events like the SQLI Germany Partner Day give all participants the opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the wider industry, exchange valuable experiences, and expand their technical horizons.”

After the presentations, guests were able to dive deeper into discussions in smaller groups while enjoying delicious finger food in a relaxed atmosphere. This made the SQLI Germany Partner Day 2025 a well-rounded, informative, and highly enjoyable networking event, offering tangible benefits for all participants.
